They say the best things in the world come in pairs:
Peanut butter and jelly.
Bert and Ernie.
Netflix and chill.
Tom and Jerry.
Even Ben and Jerry.
So it’s no surprise that the combination of one our margaritas and one of our delectable menu items validates this theory. Especially over the summer, when the thermostat is pushing the needle and our bodies need hearty food to power our summer activities. Some tacos at Fuzzy’s, a cold margarita… that’s kind of what summer is all about, no?
We thought you’d agree. And with that in mind, here are some irresistible pairings from Fuzzy’s Taco (and maragarita) Shop menus around the country. Starting with the…
What it is: A champagne split dunked into a Fuzzy’s house margarita.
Food pairing: Chips and Queso with Chorizo
Sometimes it’s time to let loose, throw your hair back and enjoy yourself. We recommend popping bottles alongside our eye-popping combo of chips, queso and chorizo. Celebrate good times.
What it is: A margarita swirled with watermelon awesomeness.
Food pairing: Bacon, Egg and Cheese Taco
They say you should have plenty of fruit for breakfast, so might as well combine some watermelon with one of our breakfast tacos, right?
Ghost Chili Pepper Rita
What it is: The spiciest margarita you’ve ever had.
Food pairing: Spicy Pork Nachos
Because heat plus heat cancels out the heat, right? Or wait… that’s not how that works at all.
Chocolate-Covered Cherry Rita
What it is: Exactly what it sounds like.
Food pairing: Shredded Chicken Salad or Sopapilla Chips
This really all depends on your personal judgment. If you want to be good while being bad, stick with the salad. If you want a double dose of badness, go all in on the Sopapilla Chips.
Blue Pumpkin Rita
What it is: Not really sure.
Food pairing: Drunken Pig
If you’re going to order one item whose ingredients mystify, you might as well order two. Nobody may really know what’s in either, but they all agree that both are wonderfully delicious, so who cares?
Orange Fanta Rita
What it is: Orange Fanta lovingly dumped into a house margarita.
Food pairing: Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla
Shrimp are kind of orange too, right?
What it is: A beer, preferably Corona, that’s taken a plunge into a house margarita.
Food pairing: Shredded Brisket Taco
Nothing says Fuzzy’s quite like some brisket tacos and a Beerita. It’s the best cliché there is, or ever will be.
What it is: Duh.
Food pairing: Enchilada Plate
Tradition, tradition, tradition. There’s nothing wrong with good ‘ole fashioned tradition.
Just remember — not all of the margs on this list are available at all Fuzzy’s locations. (Road trip!) For a complete list of Fuzzy’s and Fuzzy’s menus, do that clicky thing here.
